my computer is doing something strannnnnnge.

when I restart it, it keeps saying that the hal.dll file is either corrupt or missing.
I have to keep reinstalling xp. 'cause I don't have the cd or anything, so I choose the option from the boot menu..
anyway it works fine for awhile, I re-put all my stuff on it..

then it needs to restart for something. uh, windows updates? and it says it can't restart because of the hal.dll...
